Timber

We only source our timber from FSC accredited timber importers who can provide a full chain of custody for all their sustainably sourced timbers. Nearly all of our production is in premium grade hardwoods, with the exception of a new development in engineered-timber called Accoya , which guarantees a longer life expectancy than hardwood, claiming to be more stable, durable and impenetrable to insect infestation.

Glazing

We can pre-glaze joinery with any type of glass or double glazed unit. Slimline double glazed units have proved very popular with clients wishing to retain the aesthetic appearance by keeping slim glazing bars and sections and improving upon the energy performance of traditional thicker double glazed units. For instance, they fit perfectly into traditional up & down sliding sashes, whilst retaining the original look. They are popular with clients as they achieve better u values required by new building regs and they see a corresponding reduction in their energy bills due to the improved insulation achieved. Incorporating warm edge spacer bar technology they also reduce condensation, helping to protect against moisture damage and mould to timber windows.

Typical Production

We can make all types of windows and doors. Windows would typically be hardwood or Accoya and glazed with slimline double glazed units, lead weighted on sash cord/chain and weather-sealed, or we can supply tilt & turn mechanisms and spring balances. Doors can be fire certificated where necessary, and french and bi-fold doors are a popular production line. We have our own in-house spray booth where we can apply the specialist finish of your choice, primer, paint or lacquer in varying matt to silk or high gloss finishes. The result is a super smooth, professional result, perfectly complimenting the quality of our production.

We can price work from architects drawings or your own plans, or we can help with design and solve any technical issues. We do not charge for estimating or site visits, and on receipt of an order will measure up free of charge.
